COMMENTS:
Leather is a bi product from the animals we eat, rather than the animal being harvested only fot their fur, either one does not bother me.

I'm gonna make me some ABC-strap dancing shoes. I'll probably only wear them once. But that one minute hike through the sewage will have been worth it. You'd sacrifice yourself for me, right ABC?
Yes because if you were violently opposed to leather and some big bacon was walking down the road in a leather jacket and you decided to throw a gallon of paint over him as you were an animal rights protestor or something, something tells me that you would about to be violently rearranged aswell as violently opposed.
I would think more people would be violently opposed to leather cause of repressed memories or get whipped with it as a child but fur does cause more allergies.
No worries Mag, I am getting older I am sure I will have enough excess skin soon for your shoes.

YAY! :) ...Well, I suppose that depends on where the skin comes from...
Fur is showy. It was 'classy' in the 80's, but now it's tacky unless you're an Eskimo.

Hmmm. Good question. I don't know, but the anti-fur people do get more press.
leather is kind of functional, you really can't argue about leather without being a whiner. I'm not gonna carry signs about how bad fur is unless it's a protest about how cave-man tacky it is (unless you're an Eskimo of course)
