ARE WE REALLY WINNING THE WAR AGAINST TERRORISM?

[+] serious ballot by Barbara_Baby_Cakes
created Mon Sep 20, 04

It has been reported that, A video posted Monday on a Web site showed the gruesome beheading of a man identified as American construction contractor Eugene Armstrong, purportedly killed by key terror suspect Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, and threatened to kill another hostage within 24 hours. Why does Bush continue to state that we are winning the war on terrorism when innocent civilians without fail are kidnapped and beheaded by those who allegedly are being defeated as stated by Bush?

Bush is in denial...
Bush doesn't give the American people credit for having a brain...
terrorism is fuelled by bush policies
Even Bush said you can't win it
Zarqawi was reported to have died ages ago.
terrorism has existed since humans, can't be won

It's almost as if the stuff just doesn't register with him. I once accused him of being sociopathic. Looks as though he's trying to PROVE ME RIGHT. How he can stand in his own skin and say such things is beyond belief...

do you really believe bush is making these choices by himself?

has this ballot been made about 3,000 times?

Yes?

Then SHUT UP and argue on the ballots that are ALREADY MADE, rather than flood B&W with your democrat garbage!

Excellent points Truth, he is without a doubt a sociopath, you don't have to search too far to encounter those types...

Thisd topic is not "democrat" garbage ... unless you're suggesting no Republican can/should share these views -- which I'd disagree with.

Of course the whole things a failure, when have people ever died in a *successful* war? It just doesn't happen.

I mean we've had like two years to totally eradicate every terrorist, in groups spread across the entire globe, involving thousands of hidden operatives. What's the hold up?

The War on Terror is not just failing it is counter-productive.

The War on Civilisation and Sanity is going really well.

The war on terrorism is as successful as the war on drugs.

people who think the war on terror can be won are out of their fucking minds. there have always been terrorists, since the beginning of history. terrorism can't be stopped simply because it is driven by a self-destrcutive ideology bent on sacraficing your life if need be for the terror cause. terrorists don't even have to be trained. all it takes is some asshole with 12 pounds of TNT strapped to his chest walking into an area filled with people to detonate the device and kill them. it's a very cheap war to fight. you can take out an unlimited number of enemies by sacraficing just one guy.
by NHBman on Thu Feb 03, 05 7:21pm [+]

also, why is it that republicans declare "war on something"? it happened with nixon and vietnam which we lost... reagan with the war on drugs (we lost that one too) and now bush's "war on terror". it's always a fucking idiot republican dragging our country into a conflict we have no chance of winning. damn republicans don't know how to pick fights they can win. total fucking foolhardy, selfish stupidity! this is why i am no longer republican!
by NHBman on Thu Feb 03, 05 7:25pm [+]

Terrorism started before Bush ever got into office. Terrorist just love to hate. They have no idea what to do except to destroy and and hate, they have no reason or need one for what they do.

I believe that Bush just wanted to make a name for himself as a president. He doesn't care about this country or the people in it. All he cares about is getting his name in the history books. I believe that Bush was one of the worst things to happen to this country. He needs to end this war and bring our friends and family home!
