DO SOME NATIONS SEE WAR AS A FORM OF SPORT?

[+] serious ballot by Steelhamster

Some of the posts I come across, suggest that war has become the latest 'sporting' event.

Should we now look forward to a 'world series' of war?

So, does blind patriotism in some, give us a world where war, is little more than a spectator sport?

I don't think any nation sees it as a sport.

I can't wait for las vegas to start offering up point spreads in the form of body counts. all this jingoistic hog-doody camouflaged as patriotism makes my ass twitch. o.k. todays quiz: who said "the only difference between civilization and chaos is three meals and twenty-four hours"?
