For instance, I was listening to Michael Reagan on the radio last night and he was talking about gays in Boy Scouts and went off on a tangent, saying in essence that gay scout leaders will molest little boys.

Wouldn't that be like saying a straight guy will molest little girls?

Well, I'm not sure if the guest's choice entry was intended to be humorous, but it is. As for the question itself? It's totally ridiculous. It's homophobia. Probably a lot of that is rooted in some sort of distorted Jesus-based cognition. Another explanation is a simple lack of logical consideration. But there's nothing logical about intolerance.

No, Cathexis. They're PAST issues and into PROBLEMS...

They conveniently IGNORE most studies that say that child molesters are more opportunistic in their choice of victims, that they prey on whoever they can get easiest access to. I can speak to this from personal experience, having been molested myself by an uncle when I was a child. He's as straight as I am.
