You know, there is a migration of black americans back to the south. If anything, that is an indication of how things are changing in the south. Your type of sweeping generalization does not work. I doubt those african americans living in the south support anything you mention here.

actually the pellagra outbreaks during the civil war and great depression disproportionately affected the south, this is why many came to view southerners as "slow witted"

Do you honestly believe the War was fought over slavery? If so, why did the Northern states still have slaves after the Emancipation Proclamation and AFTER the War? That's right. KY & Delaware didn't give up their slaves until Dec 31, 1865. I believe we gave up roughly 8 months prior.

Don't forget the NY riots after the draft. How many Blacks did the Yankees lynch in those 3 days? I believe it was 30-something.
How many died in the Springfield, IL race riot of 1908? The damage was over $200,000 as more than 40 homes (owned by African-Americans) were destroyed.
And you ever wonder why they are always trying to label us as racists and rednecks? I think it might be to hide the fact the biggest Klan groups are all up north.

I will only reply to inform you this is the pot calling the kettle black. The proper word is "they're." It is a contraction (see the apostrophe) meaning "they are." Either one is acceptable.
How is your blanket statement lacking in narrowmindedness? It probably isn't (apostrophe--therefor, contraction meaning "is not").
Finally, can you give statistics on the rate of incest per capita in the South as compared to other regions of the US? Or even against the national average? Or do you simply toss out insults because you are an intolerant bigot?
Oh yes, the south INVENTED slavery. Yeah right... the south didn't even stand out in terms of slavery. It didn't have anymore slaves or slaveowners than the north. History is written by the winners; the north would have you believe that the Civil War was fought on the grounds of slavery and the Confederacy was nothing but a bunch of hicks fighting to continue slavery. If it wasn't for the Civil War, slavery wouldn't have been abolished at that time ANYWHERE in America where it still existed. Just look up the facts. The US harbored slavery for nearly nine decades, while the CS harbored it for four years. Aren't you burning and wiping your butt with the wrong flag?

WE beat the south?? how old are you dude? you seem pretty spry for such an old feller...a wee bit tetched in the head as we say down here in the south where we wish we all had slaves...even tho no one in my family ever had any it would be kind of cool...i'm not particular about race tho...would you like to be my slave bitch? i won't work you too hard and you can have one day off a year if you are a good hard worker and appreciate all yo mizzus has did fo yo worfless beehind.
I don't think you have to be a person from the South to do any of those things and you know I'm right this is America after all...
