The AP Reported that, during Ted Kenndedy's speech at G.W. University, he made the following remarks regarding Bush rush to war, "The presidentÂ’s handling of the war has been a toxic mix of ignorance, arrogance and stubborn ideology. The presidentÂ’s arrogance toward the world community has left our soldiers increasingly isolated and alone. The administration continues to insist that the country is safer now because of the war. However Americans deserve to hear more from our president than happy talk like that, and the war in Iraq has made the mushroom cloud more likely, not less likely. Yes/No, did Ted Kennedy get it right or wrong, why or why not?

No, nothing more than Liberal ranting...

Well if a republican president is drawing the ire of one of the most far left politicians in america today then he has cause to be concerned. To think an extremely liberal senator openly criticizing bush right before an election, who saw that coming?

Well said Jappy, when people down here called his office to complain about what he said about the War in Iraq, they were told "the senator doesn't care about what the people in Alabama think" , both times, the guys an arse to put it nicely, and so is his staff!

He was correct in a few remarks, yes it was arrogance that led are country into this mess, yes the American poeple deserve better better answers, yes he was correct in defing the mistakes of the war.

However, I do feel that this war had no bearing on the use of nuclear weapons, this war had no interest on nuclear arms, the only poeple that will use those weapons are the terrorist because every other nations can remember Hiroshima and Nagaski and the horror of such a weapon. Terrorist seem to lapse of memory and wouldn't care. And since no links of terrorist and Iraq have been made, how could the war have an impact on nuclear arms.
