To me, it seemed Bush was afraid to answer some of the question, and just answered the question he wanted to be asked.

Bush had few specifics, plaintively continuing to whine: *I* know what needs to be done.

That and trying to truck out the old Attack Team sound bytes. But he just isn't as good at delivering them when not in front of a highly partisan crowd who never questions whatever pops out of his mouth.
