Once a car nearly hit me, but I don't think I would have died.
My appendix burst inside of me when I was 13. I was lucky that I made it to the operating room within minutes.
I had a heart attack when I was nineteen. Even got to the Great Admissions Gate. Got turned away, though. Wonder if they were trying to tell me something...

Yep, cartwheeled a few hundred yards (front end to back end) across a carriageway in a car. Luckily it landed on it's side. Thank F*ck for seatbelts is all I can say!
Nearly died after major surgery, the result of a series of misjudgments by hospital staff. Ah, memory lane!

At an intersection near where I live (Square Lake & Adams), there was this landscaping truck going like 20mph over the speed limit that ran right through a solid red light and came within a few feet of hitting me.
Dude. lol. This one time in elementary school I was jumping up and hanging on the fench and the part where the fencing makes little x's at the top went up in my wrist and I was hanging by some skin and that big artery that goes through you wrist. I had to use my other arm to do a pull-up and free the other one. I went to the nurse's office and she called my mom at work and said "Miss, sorry to bother you but your son was on the playground and he got a SCRATCH." So my mom thought nothing of it until she picked me up from school and looked..."inside" my wrist. We went to the hospital and they said I missed that artery by like a paper-width. Couple stitches and I was good. Scary shit though.
