It's amazing, the size of the blinders the sheeple will consent to wear...
There would have been more arrests except the Constitution party and Socialist Party candidates are too old to f**k with the secret police state.
Get outta here... This happened in broad daylight with a bunch of C-Span cameras at large? Well, the Brownshirts are getting ever bolder in their rash efforts to stamp out 'subversiveness of speech.' Did Badnarik and Cobb get released OK? I hope so, although we won't be hearing the last of it.
That is reprehensible. Bush can't tolerate one dissenter ... but I guess he couldn't get away with pulling that on him. They *shouldn't* get away with pulling it on the other candidates, either.
It will all be decided in court tomorrow. I'm off to invest in barbed razor wire.
So you're blaming Bush? Why am I not surprised.
Might want to wait on the facts there cath. If bush order his personal army of secret police to go out and round these people up, then you have a case. If they actually broke a standing law and were arrested on the orders of local law enforcment officials, well that's their own fault. Simply by being a presidential canidate doesn't put you above the law, and if they broke the law they should be punished for it. Naturally I don't expect Bee put out the whole story, and I'll look into this further.
Unless I am allowed to participate, the debates become a massive campaign contribution to two of the candidates, illegal under the very campaign finance laws those two candidates have passed and signed as Senator and President. Michael Badnarik.
It will all be sorted out in court within the hour. If Badnarik is allowed to participate, he wins the debate, but Kerry wins the election. If he's denied, then Kerry will win the debate and Bush will win the election. If the debate is cancelled, Bush wins the election. How f**ked up is that? In my own humble opinion, the election will be decided today in Maricopa county, Arizona this morning.
.. and the winner is: George W. Bush. Please join me in writing to the following sponsors of the PRIVATE debates. AARP American Airlines America's Charities Anheuser-Busch Companies The Howard G. Buffett Foundation Sheldon S. Cohen - Morgan, Lewis & Bockius, LLP Continental Airlines Discovery Channel EDS JetBlue Airways The Kovler Fund
Oops. Lots of political ballots with no meaning seem to have knocked this ballot off the list, Beelzebubba. It appears no-one is interested in democracy but fascinated with the battle between Bush and Kerry. Nice try though.
Oh, well. If you can't beat 'em.... umm... if fooled you can't get fooled again. Jeb 2008!
As it turns out, I was wrong. It was reported. BY THE BBC! http:/ /news.bbc. co.uk/ 2/hi/americas /3740146.stm Only in America.
Hello? Anybody? (sound of crickets chirping)
