it was very late and dark one night. My friend and I were coming home from a party. We stopped to talk on the front walk to my house...all of a sudden, she looked off behind her and then turned and looked at me with complete panic and horror on her face. I had no idea what she had seen but wasn't waiting around to find out. I sprinted to the porch, ran to the front door and had it safely locked behind me before I realized I had left her out on the walk with "the thing". When she started screaming and banging on the door I snapped out of it and let her in. Turns out it was a big mean dog coming at her. :) Sooo...I might have a good chance at survival.
