Have you seen these ads for the Freedom Tower/WTC silver dollar?

National Collector's Mint, Inc. claim that these silver dollars are minted from silver recovered from ground zero.

That turned out to be a lie plus the coin is only silver plated. It's not even U.S. currency. It's from the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands.

What do you think should be done to these scum who attempt such a shameless scam to profit from a national tragedy?

Should be arrested for treason

I'm telling you the full truth here, as soon as I saw them say it was made from silver from ground zero and for a sale price of 19.99 I knew it was a rip off.

"...Silver recovered from a safe scavenged from ground zero"

Lewis Black made fun of that on the Daily Show. I agree, this is a stupid scam. Those cheapos. They do stuff with coins like that pretty often too. Remember the ad "The Official Statue of Liberty coin" .."In rememberance of september the 11" or something. They did that one a couple years ago. They are so stupid.
