Seems to me that you can't have it both ways ...
Why, oh why, didn't Kerry point this out in the debates??

Everyone is being unfair to George the Younger. He doesn't know anything other than what Cheney and Karl Rove have told him. Obviously they've been hiding Cheney's secret liberal past.
Note all: The two options are NOT analogous! 1. Cheney is UNFIT 2. Kerry IS fit Given Bush's statement, on eof these (by formal rules of logic) has to be true.
Either Cheney AND Kerry are unfit (for the stipulated reason) or both *are* fit (if the allegation is the sole criteria). Sorry, should have made those options more clear.
A vote against Cheney is a vote against Kerry. A vote for Keryr is a vote for Cheney. Again, only in regards to the Bush allegation.
I wouldn't be suprised if he started blaming everything on the people around him. He needs good reasons for why he's a faliure so why not blame it on someone else and make it easier on himself.
