I think both sides have to stop the arguing and get back to basics. It's better to get along and both sides need each other. Both sides are unwilling to give in first, so the best way is just to tone down the rehtoric and just agree to make ammends. It's not just something that America needs to do, its something boths sides need to do. At least that's my opinion. :)

There are some things I just don't worry about and this is one of them. There has been a certain amount of anti-Americanism around for a long time. I am more concerned with how the people I care for feel, my family and friends. Not someone a half a world away.
Let France and Russia resume exploiting Iraq's oil, by honoring the agreements they had extablished w/Saddam. You know the oil for food program, ha ha.

I hate Europe and it's people because they hate us. I've seen it 1st hand. The way Americans are treated in Europe. I used to like old europe. However my opinions quickly changed
1. The "don't hate us, hate our government" motto is bullseye for me.
2. Plus, erase E! Entertainment television and stop destroying other countries places on spring break, we really don't like springbreakers.
3. Educate racists, white supremacists, conspirationists, armed and aggresive people and the likes.
Everyone else american is alright for me. You're truly great people, the most of you, as in everywhere.

American_Patriot- And Americans themselves are soo polite? Europe cannot accept criticism of 'rudeness' from a country that itself is generally impatient with their tourists. And please don't use the term 'old Europe'. It is annoying.

you'll find the more sensible europeans dont generalise in this way, much like the more sensible americans dont generalise in this way...
My parents took me and my brother to England and several other European countries during our summer vacation, and I must say I HAD A GREAT TIME! I found the people to be very friendly and they went out of their way to help us when needed. From what I saw, I think that there are some less-than-savory people wherever you go. I don't think any one country has a monopoly on a-holes! But overall I can say I met MANY new friends and email pals while in Europe and I can't wait to visit again someday. :)

As long as we're # 1 the world will hate us. Simple as that. When you're on top you CAN'T do right, as far as the rest of the world is concerned. When we're gone they'll miss us.
