The 'Chav' was supposedly invented as a reaction to Political Correctness.
Racism ain't allowed no more. So, now, there is the Chav!
'Acceptable' prejudice against members of the working (or non-working) class who have ideas above their station and wear the clothes that are marketed to them as aspirational.
But the middle classes realise that these clothes mark out these people as losers.
I'm not criticising you, choasad. You're only believing what the style gurus want you to believe. But have a think about what I've said.
What's more, these clothes (and prams, etc) are EXPENSIVE. And cynically designed and marketed to propagate the endangered class system.

i suppose you would call me a goth (im not im far too old) which in a lot of ways makes me the enemy of the chav! they have someone that they consider to be inferior to themselve! I`m not sure i totaly agree with everything you said keith because before chavs were townies and before that trendies and it goes way back! mods and rockers i guess! and i know for a fact i wasnt "marketed" but where the chavs go wrong is they assume all goths/rockers etc are created equal! and as ive proven to a few, we aren`t!
