Why any person who decides that they must win. If the need truely exists there is very little one can do to stop someone who is absolutly determined. Does this mean they will take it over by force? Absolutly not! This person if they think they must win will take it from a reasoned and strategized approach, prepared for every eventuallity and commited 100%. As I see it, such a person deserves to take charge if they make such a move. But then again thats what elections are for ;)

If it was north vs south, or red vs blue states, the northern union would win again. The south is mainly supported by tax dollars that come from the northern, eastern, and western borders. Furthermore, the southern region has the lowest educational and economic achievement levels in the nation.

If by some chance the lines divided, and it became a North vs. South adventure again. I would have to say the south would win...or at least, defeate the north who would need to invade. Simply, the south has greater access to such things as manpower(mexico) and sea superiority(Norfolk, Tampa) Also, the South has Langly, the Pentegon, and Wal-Mart. So you see...the South would easily defeat the North.

The South has even less assets than it did in 1860. All the military planes and weapons are made here, as well as the best schools. If there was another war the North would win in a few weeks. The South is weaker now than it was 150 years ago. Keep on rising, South, you're almost at the fifth grade reading level.
