Yes, I think they should. Their criminal records should be a separate issue altogether and shouldn't prevent them from making electoral choices. Just my opinion. Many are sure to disagree.
Hey, if Politicians, racist, liars, the rich, inept leaders can maintain their right to vote, so should convicted felons...
Why not? Didn't one of them become President?
Hey, good points BBC and nuckinfutz!
Aren't there 47 other states? Yes, I should, I mean, felons should be allowed to vote...
Do you mean those in jail or those who have served their time? In the UK, only three sets of people are ineligible to vote, The peerage (including and up to the Queen) The insane and those incarcerated. Once they leave prison, they are allowed to vote.
This is a joke ballot right?
didn't mean for it to be a joke ballot, saw a report about it and wondered what you all thought
Allowing felons to vote would be a boon for the democrats, so I'm going to have to oppose it. Just look at the states that have it, all frighteningly leftwing.
I disagree with this. Lets say a candidate says that he'll loosen the law books a little. That's good for the criminal. There are millions of criminals in the US and that would definately create a large vote revenue. I oppose the idea.
Hey, I think once they did their time, yes!! ps isn't Bush a felon??
