Kerry: We have to get back to the place we were, where terrorists are not the focus of our lives, but they're a nuisance. . . " I don't want terrorism to be merely a "nuisance"; I want it to be nonexistent. Kerry wants to pretend like it's September 10, 2001, and so he doesn't appear to understand the full scope of the problem. He also said that each terrorist attack will be met with an answer. I don't want it answered; I want the "question" to never be asked (preemption).
You dont get it.This game of terrorist-Counter Terrorist is a game that Lunatic Republican{s} is playing with our lives & our land. They didnt attack us unprovoked.Thats bullshit & most of us that can add up actions & consequences can see this.
I dont feel " safe " when my point of view is stifled, beaten & thrown in jail because some Dicktator doesnt want to hear it.Who does this monkey work for???Hes supposed to represent ME.Work for ME.Not his own hidden agendas. He outa there...
But Qui! "We must complete the mission"! Wait, is that a quote from Bush or from a video game...? Can't remember...
If he wants to play war games, let him play Day of Defeat or Counter Strike....bet his stats would suck...
So WalterPeck, by your own admission, Bush is as guilty as Kerry, for wanting the current rate of terrorism to be a nuisance value? We live in a world that has always had terrorism and always will have, so your wish that there be no terrorism, will not be achieved by either candidate.
Bush never downplayed the threat of terrorism in his quote, as Kerry did in his. And, no one's trying to stifle your right to free speech, Qui. In fact, the Kerry people threatened to sue television stations who ran the Swift Vet ads, and they're filing complaints with the FCC against Sinclair Broadcasting for wanting to run a Kerry/Vietnam documentary. The Bush campaign never tried to get the Michael Moore film banned from theaters.
The republicans Paid for the makeshift jail During the RNC in New York,Held people for days while muggers could make booking in only 12 hours. There were Republican people yelling at these people You need to be taught a lesson. What praytell would this "lesson" be?
WalterPeck, did you not read what I put in the ballot? Bush DID underplay the threat of terrorism, and I have provided the evidence.
Going to Afghanistan to avenge the deaths of 3,000 people, and engaging in preemptive action in Iraq, is not underplaying the threat of terrorism, steel.
If you listen very closely, WalterPeck, really really close, you will hear a thump thump thump noise... ...thats the sound of me hitting my head against the computer screen. None of the reasons you gave was the reason for the war on Iraq. Iraq was no threat to the US or any other country currently engaged there, nor was there any link between Bin Laden and Saddam. The only link of any consuquence you should be worrying about when it comes to Bin Laden is the Bush families links to the whole Bin Laden family. I understand you dont like hearing things that may shake your world view of things, but sometimes, if it looks like a duck and it walks like a duck and qucks like a duck... its a DUCK!
Kerry treats Terrorism like a crime, thinking law enforcement can take care of it. Which is wholey inadequte for the job. The only way to tackle terrorism is to use military force.
