No - and as much as I love Arnie, I wouldn't approve of that amendment.

Reasons why Arnold would be a great president:
1. While not as good an actor as Reagan was, he's a lot more buff.
2. After G.W. Bush, the public is used to the idea of a president who can't speak English well.
3. His father was a Nazi, which earns Arnold a lot of credibilty with the religious right.
4. Now that he's had a sex scandal, the Kennedys have finally accepted him as one of their own.
5. Although he won't be able to capture Osama bin Laden either, Arnold can at least get even with Osama by calling him a "girlie man".
6. Can deal with 9/11 by becoming the Terminator and going back in time to kill all the terrorists before they
can hijack the planes. You've got to admit, that plan would be as effective as anything Bush has ever done!
If he ever gets elected as president it will be the sign that the American empire is coming to an end.
Not as a first choice. Although I'd take him over GW Bush.

Might vote for him, but I'd have to research his stance on all the issues first.

He seems to be a fiscal conservative, social liberal. Which is alright with me. That and he's refreshingly honest for a politician. I liked his quote about ted kennedy coming over to his house and eating all his food.

Herzog, Arnold at the RNC said he remembers watching communist tanks in front of his house, the area in Austria he lived in during that period was run by British toops so that was a lie. Then he said he left Austria a socialist country. That was a lie. He left Austria in 1968 when it had a conservative, capitalist government. That's not very honest if you ask me.

thc2883, they call themselves capitalists but they go more often by the socialist agenda. Their international policies, other policies regarding business tend to lean capitalist.
If Austria's government in 68 was anything like that of say France today, I would consider them socialist.
I'd rather vote for Hilary Clinton. Id love to see a women president.

Why do some folks make fun of this guy? He started life with very little, moved to an foriegn country where he spoke very little of the language, survived, learned the language, went to college and graduated, prospered, became a multi-millionaire, is world famous, is well respected in his chosen profession outside of politics, took the time and trouble to get into a gruelling politic campaign when he could easily take it easy for the rest of his life, and now he's governor of the largest American State. California has a larger economy than France! In less than 2 years it will overtake the UK! He now is getting tremendous experience governing Cali and he also was and is a sucessful businessman. I don't see anything to laugh at. Some of you British and Europeans (and unfortunately some Americans) really are snobs.
