So, I take it you're a glass-half-empty kind of guy. Would you ever consider all of the contributions we've made to mankind in medicine, technology, philanthropy, creativity, etc., etc., etc. No other country comes close to all of our positve qualities.
How could it not be? It's in our heritage. You don't conquer a country the size of a continent, against fierce resistance, in less than 75 years by being Mister Nice Guy.

Bostonian, I'm talking about the way American culture is a violent one. You can't blame it on video games, the rest of the world has them. Can't blame it on music, the world listens to same music as America. Can't blame it on the whole divorce thing since US isn't number one in divorces. It's society and culture that promotes violence. Simple as that.
The misfit whites could not defeat the indians.A single Indian could take out an entire regiment and they knew it.But whiteys are stupid ,greedy and desperate.They had to keep resorting to peace treaties because of getting their dysfunctional asses kicked.The whites did not go there as conquerors and to destroy the Indians.They simply wanted to settle and expand their inherently dysfunctional life by destroying and exploiting everything that moves.This would mean again stupidly and greedily fucking up the indians like all the other creatures.Neither the Indians nor the whites were necessarily at war.

I dont know that US society is any more violent.But people that i know who've been over there have an explanation.They say its simply its sheer size.Theres a feeling of being more overwhelmed and assimilated and contributes to the whole Group Nazi Homeland Hysterical BS.Easier to hide in a crowd..Its like a whole ton of independent factions and subcultures in one.Theres far more likelihood of having a civil war in the US than anywhere else.Other countries being smaller have a more community /accountable thing.
Its the thing that happens when you have a group aged 10 to 14.If left alone the 14 year olds will be the ones acting as the assholes.Bring in some 16 year olds and then theyll take over etc

its part of every culture, american filsm are not unique in the fact that many of them feature violence, you get that worldwide. the most violent film I have seen was actually brazillian.

Much of the extremely violent tv and movies that are called "American" are actually made and produced in Vancouver, Toronto, and Montreal CANADA! Much of the violent video games are produced outside the USA. The most vile and violent porn is produced in Europe and Asia. Japanese culture glorifies vilolence (especially sexual) far more than American. Also, the southern states have always and still do a chronic problem with extremely high levels of violent crime.
