I don't see how anyone with a working brain could fail to see the conflict-of-interest here. I'm certain that someone out there with a Bush-Cheney bumper sticker will rise up and declare that Cheney is totally divested of any involvement with Halliburton, to which I say two words. Magic Johnson. WHY, you ask? Simple. When Magic decided to make his first comeback to the NBA after retiring, he was informed by league officials that he would have to divest himself of his minority ownership in the Lakers. He did this by having his lawyers draw up a contract in which he sold his stake in the team to his wife for the staggering sum of- $1. I'm fairly certain that, when Mister Cheney was told the same by the FEC upon his accepting Mister Bush's nod as VP, he worked a similar deal for his own stake in Halliburton, and he is as attached to his former company now as he was when he worked there. The mere THOUGHT of Halliburton getting a no-bid contract sickens me to the core. I always thought that the idea of a free-market economy meant that the costs of goods and services could be negotiated, which NEVER HAPPENED here. For all we know, there's a company out there better able to do the job that Halliburton is MISdoing as we speak. Mister Bush NEVER BOTHERED to look for one.
Tittie Attack- a nation divided.
Int'l Zionism is the true culprit. Int'l Zionist movement is the true enemy of America and world peace.
You're sure that the Zionsists, God bless 'em, aren't another scape goat in a long line of scape goats?
Thank you, cretin_slap. They are. We ALL are, in the freaked out pyramid scheme of power.
Yes he's right the Saudi royal family are evil people who opress women. If you arent Islamic the "religious police" throw you in jail or somethng and none of the cizizens have rights. So not only is Edwards right but by doing buisness with these evil people Bush is showing everyone that he agrees that innocent civilians should be treated that way.

I guess, technically, you could still stand up for all those and be able to stand up for America. It just depends on which you put as a higher priority. Unfortunately, we know which is Bush's higher priority, and it isn't America.
