FOUR MORE YEARS? WHAT DOES AMERICA HAVE TO LOOK FORWARD TO NOW?

[+] serious ballot by xxxxxxxx
created Wed Nov 03, 04

America, you got what you voted for, at least 51% of you did.

It's not over 'til the fat lady sings, but the fat lady is about to walk out of her dressing room to tune up with the Republican band to sing the requiem of hope.

What does America (and the world) have to look forward to now?

World War III - flaring out from the Middle East
Thousands more bodybags and a lost war in Iraq
A crushed and bleeding economy
A new spate of terrorist attacks on US soil
Patriot Act II and the further loss of civil liberties
Code Red Alert and martial law
All of the above
None of the above
look forward to nyc still standing
I still have my duct tape and plastic sheeting
The Apocalypse
a bag of pretzels
Great Depression II followed by Civil War II
Massive surge in Canadian population
Freedom and economic prosperity
The return of the draft after 31 years of dormancy
Going to hell in a handbasket

COMMENTS:
Four more years of some liar appearing to you on your tv screens and telling you that you are under threat from alcoholic fundamentalist Muslim terrorists who used to do work for the CIA. And you'll get people like her-blog telling you, via your tv of course, that war is necessary and that the civilian casualties are an unfortunate by-product of any just war.

Another 4 more years for Bush to try to get himself the Dictatorship of the U.S.A. and now he'll be even closer to realising his dream.
by Alien_Invader on Wed Nov 03, 04 9:07am [+]

This is to funny, I thought that maybe you had grown up since I left Cretin.

You still believe in the tin foil hats, black helicopters, and that there is no such thing as terrorism?

You are a hand full.
by NE0 on Wed Nov 03, 04 11:04am [+]

All of the above and more.

John Edwards wife has indeed sung!!
by xxxxxxxx on Wed Nov 03, 04 7:56pm [+]

Four more years of "some liar" seems much more palatable than the alternative to me.
by xxxxxxxx on Wed Nov 03, 04 7:58pm [+]

Well have fun wallowing in it then, like a pig in its own feces.
by xxxxxxxx on Wed Nov 03, 04 9:38pm [+]

um yeah okay I will thanks for the positive advice
by xxxxxxxx on Wed Nov 03, 04 11:55pm [+]

Isn't it funny how each state that was impacted most by terrorism voted mostly for Kerry? It makes one wonder...
by xxxxxxxx on Thu Nov 04, 04 12:32am [+]

Perhaps they saw who had actually financed the terrorists once the smoke had cleared?
by xxxxxxxx on Thu Nov 04, 04 12:52am [+]

confidentconservativ: I take back my remark. It's really tempting to get nasty toward people who enjoy making nasty comments, but why go there... it doesn't solve anything and only makes a bad situation worse.
by xxxxxxxx on Thu Nov 04, 04 12:55am [+]

It really couldn't get much worse. People voted for a warmonger and America is fucked. Cheney's inevitable terrorist attack is on its way. Idiotic Americans will soon find out just what their vote will accomplish: death.
by cretin_slap on Thu Nov 04, 04 3:33am [+]

Cretin is so happy-happy. I love this guy. You make me complete.
by xxxxxxxx on Thu Nov 04, 04 12:24pm [+]

I can't believe this cat won the election based on his values. To me I don't care about your values compare to issues. If you have "good values" but did a piss poor job of running this country, I'm not going to elect you. I think its says something about the people here that would do something like this.
by trooper on Thu Nov 04, 04 5:16pm [+]

I guess it's safe to say that Americans ain't gettin' the kinda news that the rest of the world is getting.
by um__yeah on Thu Nov 04, 04 7:18pm [+]

No, we're getting it. It's just that most of the country reads the comics section because the news is too depressing.
by xxxxxxxx on Fri Nov 05, 04 12:42am [+]

I will be moving to CANADA very shortly, good luck to you poor fuckers...

Throughout recorded human history, every great civilization has risen and fallen in the following manner:

From BONDAGE to SPIRITUAL FAITH
From SPIRITUAL FAITH to GREAT COURAGE
From GREAT COURAGE to FREEDOM
From FREEDOM to ABUNDANCE
From ABUNDANCE to SELFISHNESS
From SELFISHNESS to COMPLACENCY
From COMPLACENCY to APATHY
From APATHY to DEPENDENCE
From DEPENDENCE back again to BONDAGE

The United States of America is obviously at the DEPENDENCE stage due to its more-than-four-trillion-dollar indebtedness thus making it the most indebted nation on this earth. For example, jobs of all kinds are leaving the USA for third-world countries where labor is dirt-cheap so that about 80% of all consummable goods that are needed in this country are now imported mostly from the still-Communist Red China thus putting our trade deficit at something over $600billion. Let's not forget crude oil; the USA now imports roughly half of the crude oil it uses from OPEC nations at whose mercy we have been for decades. And then there is food whose imports are growing as each day passes. How's all the above for DEPENDENCE? I'd say that we are in the eleventh hour of that stage and there is utterly nothing President-elect Bush can do to turn America around because he is not the cause of our problems. It is simply an overheated global market economy that is inevitably about to crash and burn thus bringing on Great Depression II followed by Civil War II which would set the stage for a true revolution which is a forced transformation from a free democracy to an enslaved, fascist and oligarchial totalitarian police hate-state with rule by decrees which are always subject to change without notice. Also, it is a world with nothing but todays with no yesterdays and no tomorrows.....no past and no future; just a continuous present. Get the overall DEPENDENCE picture?
