I am not glad because I've heard a lot of bad things about Bush. He did horrible stuff like sending the USA to war about twice and more. I voted for Kerry because he hadn't done anything bad. So are you glad that Bush had won the 2004 election?

yes, I am glad
no, I am not
I didn't vote
s
I'm ashamed
Hell No!!!!!!!!
I don't give a toss
he won so yes I like winners not losers
its a draw,you dummies
He stole it, just like he stole the last one.

COMMENTS:
No, I'm not, but I'm hoping againsy hope that the closeness of the numbers will convince Mister Bush that he's got work to do.

Personally John Kerry isn't the best candidate the Democrats had to offer but if I had to pick out of the two who is less worse I'd have to pick John Kerry. The two are both real mess ups but if you put their records on a scale John Kerry comes out with a better record. But, the Republicans won fair and the people who voted seem to want him as president. Me and the liberals saying that Bush isn't a good president won't change the fact that he'll be the president for the next four years and it won't change the mind of the rest of the country.

Kerry has done a lot of wrong. I'm sad that Bush won but Happy that Kerry lost.

Sorry, TS. Latest word is that Bush believes he has a mandate and Political Capital to spend.

Not the words of someone who wants to govern all of America ... just 51%.
by Cathexis on Fri Nov 05, 04 7:31am [+]

the difference in them is Bush won't even pretend he's not sold out, I just heard him on the radio saying "I gained capitol!" from the american voters and now I'm "gonna spend it"!
What a simp :p

He's going to spend our money and then turn around and say, "we don't have enough money for this program or that program." But, of course, we will have enough to give to the rich!

French President Chirac is VERY pleased that Bush won. To those Anti-Chirac people who voted for Bush, you have actually done what he wanted. He is quite pleased.
by EUROTOPIA on Sat Nov 06, 04 5:39am [+]

why? Did he stop smoking crack?
by thc2883 on Sat Nov 06, 04 6:48am [+]

Chirac's popularity in France stems from his anti-American approach. Other than that he is extremely unpopular with his social 'reforms'. If Kerry had of won, it would've been more difficult to push for his anti-american agenda. With Bush's victory he can continue to manipulate Bush's unpopularity within hi country to his advantage.

If anyone is upset, it is Blair. HA! Don't you just love the irony!!!
by EUROTOPIA on Sat Nov 06, 04 7:57am [+]

EURO
That is pretty funny. I do remember a French researcher in my lab telling me about Chirac's legal problems.

George W. Bush has the balls to win this 'Holy War' that 'we' have been in since June 1967.If you don,t believe me listen to Zell Miller, Senator and former Governor of the state of Gerorgia and a life long democrat.

'holy war' ? I always valued the US as a multicultural diverse secular tolerant nation. I have been dissapointed. Your Christian fanatics are running a muck.

I'm very happy Bush won, but the icing on the cake was seeing Tom Daschle get the boot.
by LemmyKool on Tue Nov 09, 04 8:25pm [+]

The only good things about Bush is that he is against frivilous medical malpractice suits, he believes in work instead of handouts.. that being said he has a terrible record on clean air an water proposals, his decision to drop out of the ICC, and his basic stupidity.

The bumper sticker on the back window of my car says it all...

"Don't blame me ... I voted for Kerry!"
