REPUBLICANS: WOULD YOU EVER FIGHT IN GEORGE W. BUSH'S WARS?

[+] serious ballot by Liberal_Democrat
created Sat Nov 06, 04

Since you seem to agree with his Iraq war so much and you'll probably agree with him on any war he'd declare so would you ever fight in these "just" wars and would you ever become one of his freedom fighters?

Yes, I'd do it
No, I'd never do that
Of course not I have the poor Democrats to do it for me
I'm not sure

So far, one with the courage of his or her convictions, two cowards and counting...

Zig, you are presuming that republicans only boted for Bush because they agree with his military policy. Im not a repub, though I did support Bush. However, I weighed ALL the issues and believe that Bush is better OVERALL than any other candidate. I bet the people who voted Kerry didn't agree with EVERYTHING about him, but figured he was better than Bush in more areas than not.
by CletuSlackedJawYokel on Sat Nov 06, 04 4:42pm [+]

I am doing it
by USMC on Sat Nov 06, 04 4:57pm [+]

I would be proud to be serving under George W. Bush as my commander-in-chief. Unlike the incompetent Kerry, Bush has what it takes to wage and WIN a war, even if he didn't actually fight in a war. So Yes, I would absolutely fight in one of his wars!
by Kentucky_Yankee on Sat Nov 06, 04 5:05pm [+]

Cletus, I'm not presuming anything about you or why you support Bush. That's your business. Last time I looked at this ballot there was one vote for "Yes, I'd do it (fight in Bush's wars) and two votes for "Of course not, I have the poor Democrats to do it for me.) Those were the cowards I was referring to.
Now 13 more have voted for, "Yes, I'd do it."
So, to all those people... What's stopping you?
Stop by your friendly US Forces recruiting office first thing Monday morning. Uncle Sam wants YOU!!!!
by xxxxxxxx on Sat Nov 06, 04 5:07pm [+]

liberal_democrat, do you actually think all republicans are so narrowed minded that we would agree with any war without question? We can take policy by policy and agree or disagree with what we feel is right or wrong. I am for Bush, but I do not agree with everyone of his policies. Give us a little more credit than that.
by larrynelmira on Sat Nov 06, 04 5:15pm [+]

I already did. It was fun! Lots of sun, great tans and plenty of MRE's! Yum yum! So put your foot in your mouth ballot boy.
by Dingleberry on Sat Nov 06, 04 5:24pm [+]

Liberal_Dem, I found this on your page.

"I am retiring from U.S. politics. There's no point in saying Bush is a terrible president since the majority say he isn't. I may or may not come back to this site but his win completly killed my and many other liberals morale. Debating against him is useless and now that he's the president again we can only hope for the best."

I also remember seeing something about a little bet between you and celui. Something about umm, fucking off the site if your canadate loses right? Yea so uh, who'd you vote for and why are you still here?

You sound like Michael Moore!
by Dingleberry on Sat Nov 06, 04 5:28pm [+]

You don't like him being here? I am here, what are you going to do about it DingleFAIRY, this isn't your site, you and Celui need to buzz off and get a life. I would love to see either of you make Liberal and/or myself leave...Come on girly try it...And your little comment on my userpage, don't get our back and forth started again...You will only be emotionally slapped around like in the past...

As for the ballot question, I will venture to say that there are Democrats and Republicans who would be willing to fight in Bush war of lies...
by Barbara_Baby_Cakes on Sat Nov 06, 04 6:39pm [+]

He was just stating what liberal_democrat said bbc on his user page, if he did not want comments on it, he should not have written it.

I hope Ireland has it's red carpet ready for Robert Redford, he said he was moving there if Bush won.
by larrynelmira on Sat Nov 06, 04 7:05pm [+]

Kentucky_Yankee, George W. Bush has so far never won a war. His so called war on terrorism is where he flip flops. At one point he said "The war on terrorism will never end" and at another point he said "We will win the war on terrorism". How can you win a never ending war?

Larrynelmira, most Republicans would agree with the actions of other Republicans.

USMC, when's the last time you've served in Iraq? I take a look at your user page and comments and so far you haven't been there since July. How often do U.S army personell get 3 months in a row off. Especially with all the extended tours. Are you sure you're a soldier or are you making things up?
by Ben_The_Sultan on Sat Nov 06, 04 7:20pm [+]

First of all, he's not in the Army. Second, there are plenty of times (yes, even during a war) where you will get more than 3 months off. It's not all leave, of course, but then again, it isn't deployment. There are plenty of Republicans and Democrats alike serving our country. I was a Democrat who served and many of my service buddies were Republicans. Party affiliation has nothing to do with service.
by xxxxxxxx on Sat Nov 06, 04 7:28pm [+]

I was in Iraq, never said I was there now, Wtf you mean how often do soldiers
get three months off. Do you think everyone in the military is in Iraq. I'm not sure when or if I will return there, if you had asked me in a decent tone, I might explain more to you, but as it is, I owe you no further explanations.
by USMC on Sat Nov 06, 04 7:29pm [+]

Actually you never needed to make an explanation. TheDoof did it for you.

I thought they did it on a schedule but I'm wrong I see. I may have been a little heated up by Kentucky's comment, sorry if it offended you I may have come off a little too rude.
by Ben_The_Sultan on Sat Nov 06, 04 7:39pm [+]

I fought in Bush 41 war for oil in Gulf War One. I liked it. I would go back into the Army in a second. It doesn't have anything to do with my political affiliation though.

It doesn't mean you are a coward if you vote for Bush but don't want to be in the military.

Neither does it mean that you are a coward if you vote Democrat, oppose the war, and don't want to be in the military. (Actually it is consisten)

But the point of the ballot by liberaldemocrat is to demonize the right, the military, and anyone who doesn't agree with him. He took a break from his anti-Bush rhetoric for about five seconds then came back to it. that is because he and his party of losers only offer pessimism and negativity.

Democrats the Party of Michael Moore.
by xxxxxxxx on Sat Nov 06, 04 11:20pm [+]

Also this ballot is chickensh** because it doesn't allow any other choices. Which Liberal_Demoncrap gave me 5 bad karma twice for. punk
by xxxxxxxx on Sat Nov 06, 04 11:22pm [+]

Dingleberry, what did you do there? Did you shoot anyone or get in any danger?

I might go when I get older if I can get in a little better shape. :P
by Dani_dysfunk on Sat Nov 06, 04 11:52pm [+]

Dani_Dysfunk, the military isn't fun unless you're a psycho who likes to kill people. It's not like in the movies, in fact you spend most of the time running from RPG, artillery fire.
by Ben_The_Sultan on Sun Nov 07, 04 12:03pm [+]

This ballot isn't suppose to demonize the right or bash George. It's just a question, it's not making a statement. Why do you all have to take everything as offensive, it's like you're insecure with yourselves so much that you find everything as a threat. What choice would you like?

I'm don't look to bash Bush, in fact his win actually put his respect level up. I'll give him a chance this term to try and fix this mess up but I doubt he will and NO I don't demonize the military or the country. I believe that majority of the military is lower class and the majority of Republicans are upper middle class or upper class. That is why I asked the question. Democrat or Republican, if you're rich you won't go to the army and if Republicans are rich they won't go to the army.
by Liberal_Democrat on Sun Nov 07, 04 12:09pm [+]

I'm republican and I'm far from being rich, and many of my fellow marines are republicans. I don't know if there was ever a survey taken as to percentage of military are repub. or democ. But I think you might be surprised as to how many republicans do serve. Yes most rich probably don't serve in both political parties, I'll give you that.
by USMC on Sun Nov 07, 04 4:44pm [+]

All I can say is 100,000 civilians, genocide, and it's not finished yet.

Bye America. You are finished.
by cretin_slap on Mon Nov 08, 04 5:20am [+]

Cretin_slap

Why does the potential downfall of America so please you? Were you denied a visa or something? Were you the product of a drunken American sailor?

Seriously, the US and UK have been faithful allies for nearly 200 years. Do you really think the world would be a better place if America was in shambles?

You do realize, I hope, that if America falls, western countries will be thrown into chaos as well!!!

Because you live on a physical island doesn't mean you live on an economic, social island, or in a vacuum where the only hooligany, anarchist Brits are!!!

Comments like these (and they are far from rare) are why I am going to put my fugurative foot up your ass!! Bitch.
