I think that there would also be a chance of some serious mental side effects in the patient receiving the face, a serious identity crisis, or something. It's a hard one, I suppose it needs to be tried and tested first, but I personally would not want to see a dead relatives face walking around smiling at me.
Just like any other organ donor, yes, why take it to the grave when it can give someone a chance at a better quality of life. :) IMO
Maybe I'm wrong but the bone structure would be so different that I don't think it would look exactly like your loved one did. I'm not that up on the facts though. :)

But I foresee a boatload of trouble. Colombian druglords and al Qaeda terrorists a step away from being pancaked by law enforcement, run down to their friendly neighborhood plastic surgeon and get a new face tacked on.
