WHO WAS THE MOST INFLUENTIAL ARTIST IN POPULAR MUSIC EVER?

COMMENTS:
Let there be rock!
I'd say Bill Haley, since "Rock Around the Clock" started the rock 'n' roll movement (although it was not the first rock 'n' roll song).
What a tough one. I'll go with either Hendrix for his influence on so many future guitarists or Dylan for completely redefining what popular music can be
being a bass player ill have too say jaco pastorius, if you listen you can hear his sound everywhere, rap samples, adverts music, rock, jazz, everywhere
