My little girl woke me up early this morning to tell me about a dream she'd just had where, she says, she was taken to an amazing place where all the spirits of dead animals go.. In the dream she was told that all animals are silent witnesses to the things humans do, and are sent to earth to try and persuade us to be wiser and more like them, but not many of us listen.
"Animals already know everything about us and know how stupid humans can be. That's why they can't talk, but everything is recorded," she insisted.
Could there be any truth to this?
..This isn't the first time she's come out with something astounding. She's only 9, but is very bright and wise beyond her years in many ways.

Woo-eeee-oooo - This could be the truth
Cute - but this was just a figment of childish imagination
Not true - Human beings are far superior to animals
Possibly true - Animals are far superior to humans
Who knows?
No, the sheep would have filed suits by now
I just asked my hamster and he said it was untrue.

This is the same child who said:

About George Bush: "I think the President is telling us lies, Mommy. Look at his eyes."

About Condoleeza Rice: "I think that lady is laughing at us."

About Hillary Clinton: "That lady laughs just like a witch. Just like 'Maleficent' in The Sleeping Beauty"

and: "Schools aren't good places for people who really want to think about important stuff and be artists."

And possibly my favorite quote of all, when she was 2 years old:

"I remember you from a long time ago, Mommy. You used to play with me and hug me a lot in that beautiful place, so I picked you."

Wow, sounds like a very special girl.

Animals don't talk (like us) because they don't have the ability to do so but if a dog can understand your commands you can bet they communicate with each other, and this has been proven.

Can she see dead people as well?
by Les6Hithe6Wins6Again on Thu Nov 11, 04 6:22am [+]

No, but she did have an imaginary friend when she was little, for a few weeks. She told me her name was Harriet and she'd been alive in 'the olden days.'

Amazed, amused and sometimes awestruck.
She'd definitely love her Auntie Mags, I know it! Not forgetting the snakes: Just don't ask her to give them their dinner, lol.

Be like a deer, dive in front of the shiny metal objects with the lights, and get creamed. Sounds smart to me. Rolling in dead waste is smart too. Just like humping a table leg. Maybe I'm just not getting the intellect of this.
