The Matrix Reloaded was merly an extension of the computer game lacking in the deeper content seen in the first movie. Revolutions was lacking in every field from the action sequences to the plot from the begining it was obvious how it would end. The only good thing was the Soundtrack which surpassed by far it's predecessors.

They didn't suck. Its actually quite simple to save the series. Just start with neo again and say the machines made him believe the fight was over so he would let his guard down. TADA!
