I especially want to get the fiscal conservatives on record. Maybe we can revisit the question, a year or two in the aftermath.

He likely won't institute a flat tax, and he will try to make the current tax cuts permanent, so you probably won't see much of a change in your pocketbook. But he is planning to drastically cut - if not eliminate - taxes on savings and investment accounts.

Especially, when you realize that my generation is going to have to clean up the mess of this generation. I personally believe the Baby Boomers are the most selfish generation we have seen in the last century.

You act as though I defended something in my comment. All I did was give an explanation of what's going on.

Did I? Sorry, my intent was to explore a tangential question, as an aside.

Well, in the legal sense, I'm paying nothing right now, but if I still had my previous job, I'd be in about the same bracket. For the record, I want to meet the person who'll be paying less. Preferably, she would be 35-50, at least 5'7" and prefer the Great Indoors, movies, books and stimulating conversation.
