The best democratic candidate ever to win an election would have to be Al Gore.
I'm surprised Clinton is leading the pack. I expected FDR to be in first place. 'Course, there are two choices for him (I don't know who put the second one) and if you combine their votes, he's tied with Clinton.

Carter wasnt bad but he screwed up the gas crisis, the iran crisis, begin and sadat and brought criminal cubans into florida where most of our cocaine came from and gained its popularity. Oh by the way did I say he wasnt bad?
FDR is, simply put, the father of the modern Democratic Party --- he is the reason future generations of American's would use the phrase: "Good Ol' U.S.A." He elevated your relatives and mine into middle class status! Before FDR there were no safety nets for the downtrodden,retarded or elderly! Before FDR,America was a much more nasty and ugly country!
