Good question. The UN has not sanctioned a nation more than Israel without taking some kind of action. At least the UN could try to put sanctions on the Jews. The US is like Israel's little bitch. Why we support them so unequivocally is beyond me. Maybe, just maybe, Bush will grow a pair before 08 and tell them to fuck off.
If I was viceroy of Iran I would totally get nukes. Look how much nicer the world is to Israel, the US, Russia, China, India, Pakistan, and South Africa. Everything is about diplomacy with those nations, but Iraq no nukes = both the living hell out of them.

Israel really has no choice but to have them. Just look at their position. Almost or every neighboring country considers them their enemy and many of them are developing or already have nuclear weapons. It is necessary for their survival to have them, being in such close range.
Israel is a stable and responsible nation in an unstable region. Would any country want to be in their position and not have them?
