COMMENTS:
I'm glad you seem to like this ballot, Cathexis!

If it weren't for division by zero, the universe may never have been created. (hey I quite like that theory!)
by keithsheen on Thu Nov 25, 04 11:08am [+]

I was never good at math, so I don't really understand what this ballot is about.
by aya on Thu Nov 25, 04 1:24pm [+]

Hee hee!
by mojo on Thu Nov 25, 04 1:40pm [+]

I majored in math, and I still don't understand this ballot.

Is someone here a Pi-sces?
by Tadema on Thu Nov 25, 04 8:48pm [+]

Then you open up a can of worms. Who defines what is ill-treatment? Who defines abstract? What is abstract to most I find simple. Mathematical analysis shows that socialism lowers the economic well-being of nearly everyone, and I know you don't like that conclusion keith. Is that ill-treatment?
by thc2883 on Fri Nov 26, 04 6:56am [+]

A man of your education should know that abstract doesn't mean 'difficult to learn', thc. A very foolish and basic mistake of perception.

And actually socialism raises the economic well-being of the majority at the expense of the rich minority.
by keithsheen on Fri Nov 26, 04 8:01pm [+]

Most abstract concepts are difficult for most to learn, at least the way it is commonly used. Even simpler abstract concepts like love are difficult or almost impossible to understand without empirical analysis.

Open up an economics text, even one by a silly Keynesian and use your knowledge of mathematics to study why socialism lowers the quality of life for all including those it is supposed to help. Parasitising your most productive citizens is a recipe for economic ruin. As far as I'm concerned the 1/3 of millionares who inherited that money should give it all to society but the other 2/3 should be thanked and not taxed for their contributions.

Get it? Pi-sces? You know, math..PI.. :( tads sad...
by Tadema on Sat Nov 27, 04 6:36pm [+]

Ever heard of a thing called CONTEXT, thc. Ever heard of a thing called ABSTRACT MATHEMATICS, thc. Do you think MAYBE I meant 'abstract' in its mathematical sense????? Or are you not clever enough for that?
by keithsheen on Sun Nov 28, 04 8:30am [+]

What I said still applies. You would understand that if you weren't so simple minded.
by thc2883 on Sun Nov 28, 04 2:14pm [+]

thc - we're talking mathematics. I have a maths degree from Oxford. You're a physics undergraduate at a third rate university.
by keithsheen on Sun Nov 28, 04 4:45pm [+]

Here it is you simple fool

I want a unary system with posiitional qualities that can be adapted at will to ANY AND ALL bases.
by thc2883 on Sun Nov 28, 04 5:57pm [+]

Think about the qualities that system would have to possess. Very few people in the world would be able to handle that system.
