People think rap sucks because the only rappers they hear about and/or see on TV is Puffy, Nelly, Chingy, Master Piss, Ja Fool, 50 Cent, and a few other cocksuckers who are not worthy of holding a microphone. If the aforementioned were around over a decade ago, they would never come close to getting a record deal, and even if they did, every MC would diss the fuck out of them and would be laughed out of a career. Many of the people who say that rap sucks would say otherwise if MC's and groups like KRS-One, A Tribe Called Quest, De La Soul, EPMD, Das-EFX, Gang Starr, Rakim, Jurassic 5, Talib Kweli, Mos Def, and many other worthy acts got all the promotion instead.
