I mean, is this guy for real?! His comment is so pathetic that I truly do feel sorry for him. He's making threats about going to war with me on a discussion group?? I don't know, but all signs point to this guying being the type who will open up with an automatic weapon in the middle of the post office one day. Colonel: Please, get help now before it's too late. And again...how old are you?? 25 right?! Wow, you must have been dropped on your head or something when you were a baby. And I can't belive you put a Karma shiled up against me (and YES, if I could have, I would have voted all your crap down...you threaten to do that ALL THE TIME!). Turn about is fair play.

Trust me, I've had my share of it too. Just for stating veracious facts no one wants to hear or having aesthetic tastes and opinions. My best advice to avoid trouble on this website is to try to remain uncontroversial, or not give a shit.
Or better yet, just say what you want, but it's best to do it as civilly as possible. Insulting others isn't going to work. I've put my foot in my mouth so many times!

Many of us have enemies on this site. I've thought of leaving quite often but then remember I have more friends here than enemies.

LOL! Thanks for the kind words and the sage words. I agree, but there is a double standard on the site sometimes. A guy like InternalColonel will swear at you, threaten you and beat down your Karma, and nothing happens. LCD has been fair about it, but he keeps writing to me "as long as you haven't misbehaved." What does that mean? Colonel was lashing out at virtually everyone in that post (and many others) and I'm the one who may have been misbeaving?
Smacks of double standard and obviously, LCD values someone like InternalColonel more than someone like me (I am after all only a kid, so what value do I bring anway.)

I think you should stay around. My message boxes are constantly sabotaged and my karma is constantly attacked by aliases and other sabotage users. If I based my presence on this site on who wants me here then I should've left back in August when I started my first username. It's not worth leaving and I think that you should stay. Leaving the site only makes your enemies feel victorious.
I guess you're right Lib. But can't a superuser suspend you? He was the one calling people d*ckwad and telling certain users to shut up. I'll give it some thought, but I just don't want to deal with people like him anymore. Living in NYC, I have my fair share of people like the Colonel and it wears you down after a while. Plus, it's like age discrimination. Becuase I laid into him a little, the whole thing is like "you'll be okay, as long as you didn't misbehave." I feel like I'm being reprimanded by my Principal and since I held LCD in such high regard, I feel like he has turned on me and I have no support at all. We'll see how it plays out.
