No, eventually the US will leave.

Ok, since day one of the war things have started going down the drain. Oil reserves are set a blaze daily, any building the US tries to put up is attacked or destroyed, countries are afraid to do business there because of fear of insurgency attacks, countries are starting to pull out of there, water system is down on a daily basis, so is electrical and there are 25 attacks against the US on every day. Will things get worse or will they ever start to improve?
LMNAO, ABC!
Did you read the agent said the situation is far worse than the Bush Administration has revealed to the public? Can you believe that!? ;-)
Just like the war in Vietnam never improved, the war in Iraq won't either. Those who fail to remember history are doomed to repeat it. Bush obviously failed history in school.
He was living through that history, duh. The situation in specific areas, such as "the triangle of death" was what they're talking about. Not the entire Iraq. Only In those town where the insurgents are hiding. Don't worry hippies, theres no civilians dying. The worse thing is the American soldier casualties, but I guess you don't care about them do you. The Iraqi P.M. says that the elections will go on. The rest of Iraq is fine it's just those certiain places where the fighting is going on. Guerilla warfare. If you wanna talk about history think of Hitler and Germany, what would happen if other countries didn't intervine.. or Japan at around the same time. You're pessimistic.
'duh' was to grapost
No, the CIA was talking about the entire country. There are insurgents all over the country. Fallujah, Tikrit, Baghdad, Mosul, Baquba, Najaf. In other words the main cities. If all the insurgents are in the main cities then that's pretty much the entire country. It can't improve without the key cities improving. How do you know what the CIA was talking about, did you even read the article?
Here's the entire story. According to a classified cable and briefings from the Central Intelligence Agency, the situation in Iraq is unlikely to improve in the near future, the New York Times reported on Tuesday. A classified cable sent last month by the CIA chief who ended a year-long tour of duty in Iraq warns that the situation was likely to deteriorate, including more violence and sectarian violence, unless the Iraqi government makes significant progress in asserting its authority and building up the economy, officials familiar with his cable said. The CIA official who visited Iraq and briefed officials from other U.S. government agencies was Michael Kostiew, a senior adviser to new Central Intelligence Agency chief Porter Goss. His assessment of Iraq was similarly bleak, the officials said. Both assessments presented a much more pessimistic picture of the situation in Iraq than that offered by the Bush administration and could signify that Goss is willing to listen to different views than those expressed by the U.S. government, The New York Times said. However, spokesmen for the White House and the CIA told the paper that they could not discuss intelligence matters and classified documents. I don't see them mentioning "triangle of death" anywhere, I see them mentioning Iraq the country.
The rest of Iraq is fine. Dani dysfunk Where's her-blog? I think he could do better at painting a nice picture of Iraq than hapless Dani. Seeing as he's not here at the moment i'll deputise for The Blog. What about Japan? They were all savages before America dropped two nuculer bombs on them. Now they are obedient consumers, and all really happy. Look at Germany. There was lots of trouble getting their democracy started after WWII (WWII uh uh uh uh uh uh yeah, sorry, but all those millions of deaths just turn me on). Those left wing idiots on the left wing of the left wing really don't know the truth. Iraq is just fabulous. And anyway it's all the insurgents fault. It's actually Islam and the left wingers' fault. When the Iraqis have been terrorised and murdered for another few years by the heroic US Army then everyone will agree that Iraq is better off. Otherwise we'll fucking kill you! Damn hippy left wingers. by her-blog on Dec 08,2004
They SAY,, and i'm talking about the generals say and the officials. Those key states need to get under control. It is pretty bad in some states, those insurgent states. Most of Iraq doesn't have insurgents running around. In many of the provinces/states they said voting will work, no problem. but in places like Fallujah it still needs some time to clean out, Definatly. That was a very brief, to-the-point artical. People always say 'Iraq' when reffering to the troop-occupied areas. They don't write out "In Baghdad, Fallujah Najif.." all the time, because we already know what they're talking about. There are many articals and reports in the world coming out every day, Lib. That isn't the only source of info on the planet about Iraq.
The CIA, the worlds most informed intelligence agency has said that the Iraq situation will no improve in Iraq any time soon. They get their inte'l from Generals and high ranking military positions. The CIA isn't some news agency, they are investigators who can get better access to Generals than Fox or CNN. They said it. When the CIA says something there's a 99 percent chance that it is right. I think that I'll take the sources of the CIA over any news agency. There are insurgents everywhere. Maybe not in large numbers but a small group of insurgents can do a lot of damage. "That isn't the only source of info on the planet about Iraq" So the CNN gives out better intelligence reports than the CIA?
Good point, Lib Dem. And didn't those same generals that Dani mentioned say that the conquering of Iraq would be a cakewalk while completely forgetting that exactly the same fucking thing happened in Viet Nam? Oh but there's an excuse, isn't there Dani?
I'm very sure that Dani there would agree with the CIA just fine if they said the complete opposite. Most of the things the CIA says ends up being right. They said Iraq had no WMDs and they were right. Now they are saying that Iraq will not get better and I'm very sure that'll prove itself to be true also. But I'm sure Dani's gonna bring some Fox news source that disagrees with the CIA.
Dani, if your theory that only large cities are full of insurgents is correct and true then that would still make Iraq a failiure. If you can't control big cities in a country economically then you can't control the country. Controlling the economy of small towns won't do much for the economy.
Grow up, fucktards. I'm not an idiot i know what the fucking CIA is. I didn't say I got the news from a media channel reporter. I said an Army General talking to the camera, said this. And they showed a map of where the fighting is going on and where there is no fighting. I am not doubting the CIA. I know about this report. They said the same thing on the news. SAME exact thing. I said "This artical is not the only source on the planet" because you're saying "Did you even read the artical? Here is it ". I already heard it. Guess what, they said the same thing on MSNBC. And I don't watch FOX, once again, Liberal. I already told you this. Stop making up lies to look cool in front of your croanies. I know how it's going. When the fuck did I EVER EVER EVER say that this is going great? You like to put words in other people's mouths, don't you? You like making things. Just argue and stop meing fake.. Tell it like it is and refute the point, don't waste time by typing sh!t that doesn't prove anything.
And again, when did I ever say I didn't agree with the CIA or I was doubting them?
What's with personal attacks? I see the true Republican within you is exposing itself. The things that these generals say and do on TV is a lot different than what's actually going on. They don't have to tell the truth to the media. But they do have to tell the truth to the CIA. CIA is more reliable than any station out there. With that, my conclusion says that the situation in Iraq is failing. If you're going to take the word of a general on TV then explain the recent report that humvees in Iraq are equiped with armor and that they literally are armed with leftovers from other humvees. Explain that.
Squeak Squeak
You guys started with the rude, personal attacks. Maybe not you Lib, but cretin. And why do you love to use the labels to much Liberal? And also, Where do you get the info that the CIA said? THE MEDIA. The media can scew it any way they want to about what is being said. Unless you want C-SPAN and listen to the actual people talk than u know it's reliable. The CIA wasn't right when they said Iraq had WMDs now where they? ; ) So Bush shouldn't rely on "faulty intelligence", right?
Dani Dysfunk defends Bush. Ha ha ha ha. That says it all. Especially in a few years when people look back and survey the damage that this awful man has done.
Stop making up shit. Where anywhere here so far was i defending Bush. Stop being a pussy and make a counter argument for once.
Do what?
Hrumph, Great Britain. No wonder. Well ofcourse you're anti-america.
The media translates. The CIA does or governement does and the media reports. The media can mess up but CNN isn't the only one to report this. dani_dysfunk
