Hmmmmmm..I should ask my friend, who happens to be a visiable minority, he happens to have a hunt camp up north, a cottage, a boat, a skidoo and is a private pilot to boot...must be the company you keep..

You need to find a new one. Constantly whining and blabbering on about minorities and women can't be healthy or constructive.
Orientals like to gamble and blacks like athletics.I am white and when we were kids we used to build forts,gokarts,army guy villages(then torch them),model rockets,go snorkeling,go on ninja/Rambo missions in our neighborhood,have snowball fights, .... We did tons of stuff like that when we had the time.Now kids just play video games or sports.

Yes, north Philadelphia is a ghost town overrun by gangs and criminals. The reason they don't have any social system is because any type of service that is opened there gets robbed or raided. And if they do have anything it closes around 5 pm. That part of the city is a large slum so that would be your answer. It's gangster land and anyone who does anything will probably get killed. It's not just blacks and minorities, it's anyone who lives there.
After being shafted by the lack of employment, no one can afford to go out.
Larry, he's not exaggerating. Last year alone there have been at least 5-7 cases in which large groups of people from that area came down into my part of the city and randomly beat up white people on the streets. Since it takes like 45 minutes for police to show up these criminals have enough time to do a lot of damage. That part of the city is outcasted from society and I don't think that'll change for a long time.
Tiger Woods has got a hobby.
By the way, the north has a fair fraction of white people, but they try to act black though.

I am wondering what planet you are from, because I have friends who are "minorities" and have hobbies. In fact my closest female friend plays several instruments as a hobby.

Neither.I was being sincere.There was no namecalling or derogotory statements by myself.Those are my honest observations reguarding orientals and blacks.Your statement highlights how out of control political correctness is quite frankly.

I'm not looking to ruffle feathers but here goes ...
I grew up in "the projects" and we (siblings) were plenty creative when we were young.I feel qualified(from an emperical standpoint) to state that a large percentage of people who are from the the poor neighborhoods(which is mostly black and Hispanic) simply don't have the mental faculty to really get ahead in life.This may sound cold but it is merely an observation.I've been called Hitler,Nazi and everything else on this website for being candid about the issues I get involved in here.Many of the white kids(though not as many) aren't so bright either.Again,just an observation.Of course some are and that is true for all the racial groups.I hear the left loudly on many subjects which I know most of them view from their distant prisms and/yet which I am intimately familiar with.I hear alot of emotional based nonsense and guess what?I'm a big mouth hence the reason I'm here.I don't advocate meanness much less killing innocent people.Can we ditch the Hitler title?
