I dont think I can put a lable on him so easily, being a father myself helps me to understand how much it takes. I would simply say he was a great dad that always did the best he could.

Manipulator/ disappointed/ bitter combination. He has some problems in his head -- he's one of those people that takes everything personally, including my failures, like I did it to spite him.

My dad was a real nice guy, but he wasn't the type to take us fishing or anything like that. He perferred puttering around in the garage with stuff more than anything else. He always had to to help us fix our cars and stuff like that though. He was never strict about stuff most parents are worried about.

My dad was a great guy, but he had the Bottle for a demon, and it never entirely let him go. When I was young, he neglected me in favor of my younger sister, and he knew what damage that did to me when we reconciled.
