Well, I don't mind in front of a church, but it shouldn't be in front of a courthouse

I agree with aya. I don't want it on public property but private citizens and institutions can display anything they want on their property.
Separation of Church and State. Regard it as an absolute necessity rather than a choice...
Since the US is based on the concept of freedom of religion, I don't believe that government offices should decorate with any kind of specific religious theme, because it would be construed as a bias toward that religion. But a church certainly can put such things on their property, as can other privately owned businesses and homes.
Approve. And frankly, I'm tired of certain people of another faith screaming about Christians displaying symbols of their faith and demanding they be taken down, only to have them scream they want a Minorah up. Double standard man, and people are sick and tired of it.
I agree Patch. Thats the whole reason I made this ballot.
Agree with aya, thc2883, Truthseeker, and HBinVegas. Churches and private property are no problem. Government properties should be free of all overt religious symbolism.
I love them, put them everywhere, even in front of the DNC.
Voted : Approve
One courthouse found a loophole for the nativity scene..They simply added a Santa Claus and a reindeer in the scene.
