Definitely need a liquid in the mix if you want to drink it. Once I dared my friend to eat a mixture of used coffee grounds, tabasco sauce, ketchup, mustard, mayonaise, and mello yellow. That was funny. In return I had to run to the end of the street in my boxers and make a family of snow angels on someone's yard. That was cold. I would use a crumbly cheese like blue or a mooshy cheese like the Whiz variety. My liquid of choice would probably be something with very little flavor like water or maybe some wine so you could have the wine and cheese in one shot.

It wouldn't melt in a blender, it would just shred into a zillion pieces. If you put the right kind of cheese in a microwave, you might be able to make a pretty good dip though!
