I'm English/Scotish/Polish/Hungarian.And I have English last name.I also look like Nazi poster boy.But I've always told people that I'm Polish.Cuz Lots of Polish kids that I grew up with were ashamed of yheir heritage.They tried say they are Irish or even Italians.i didn't like that.Why does anybody have to be ashamed of something that we have no choice about?That's dumb.

Goes back to the class system they set in europe were english and germans were on top and everyone else was less.

nobody should be ashed of your ethnic heritage. I think only time I am ashamed of my racial heritage is when I see some racist spouting hatred. Racists usually are so insecure about their own so they try hard to bring down others.

No but seriously, when asked, I try to list all my heritages, but since I'm a typical american mutt, it's a long list. I tend to divulge my Irish and Native American heritage more readily, since they're the two most obvious in my personality and appearance. But I am also Russian and english somewhere back there, I think.
