Wow. What an unbelievable experience they had. I'm glad they are OK.Never take the ones you love for granted - you never know when they'll be taken away.
Swedish travel agencies have the number of unaccounted for Swedes in Thailand at 1,600.The World wide death toll has exceeded 30,000 and expected to climb above 50,000. This is devastation on a biblical scale. Here in Seoul there are 2 Canadian teachers and one australian whose whereabouts remain unknown. All I can do is keep trying to reach them , and contribute to the relief effort.
It's been reported that the wave struck shore at the exact time many were having breakfast inside their hotels. Those trapped inside never had a chance to run.
And so many children lost. It's horrible. It makes you feel so helpless. Please let me know if anyone finds a legitimate relief organization to contact and donate to.
55,000 people lost their lives. 1/3 of the dead are children. That is so sad. I want to donate to help. Also the earthquake/tsunami changed the geography of Indonesia by about 98 feet , thats what cnn said.
