I always remember what Stormin' Norman (Swarzkopf) said about Rumsfeld - that no one should be enjoying himself so much when talking about war. (That from a man who has seen combat, about a man who has not.)

Do a search on Google for Maximilian von Weichs. The resemblance is uncanny except a Nazi general would never have shaken hands with Saddam Hussein.
He should be, but he won't. Perception is that sacking him would be an admission that the rush to War was ill-advised, so Rumsfeld could sacrifice animals on the Whitehouse lawn and he won't be canned.
T'would be nice if he took Cheney with him.
I just can't believe that Bush surrounds himself with such morons (I think that's the best word to use in this case).
Bush is not the brightest bulb in the pack, but at least similar dim witted Presidents of the past knew to have good people advising them. I like Qui_Qui's idea: Rumsfeld should go and Cheney too...throw in Rove as someone who should leave with them and the mess in DC may start to look less overwhelming.
Rumsfeld never should have been brought back in the door.

That's a gooe one Cranky! I don't know how much longer it can go on. I do know that our government has stoped listening to the people, and that is a very bad thing! It is time that the people re-took control of how our government operates! Government for the people, by the people! The first step should be to get rid of Rumsfeld, Rove and Card...and then maybe we should consider impeaching Bush!
YES, he hurts the Bush administration and the war in Iraq, he is inept and incompetent. His mistakes I am certain have cost the lives of American solidears taht needlessly died when there deaths should and could of been prevented.
Besides clearing Rumsfeld will allow for a goat if Bush needs one down the road.
