Goodbye.
Now here's Tom with the weather...
thought i might be able to have a somewhat intelligent conversation about this. Guess not.
I'm not seeing the reasoning for the points in the 3rd paragraph.
If you're leaving can I have your car and maybe your girlfriend?
Time is both objective and subjective, so as the Cosmos creates life and moves along toward heat death, it's on its own, objective spacetime reference. Anything inside the Cosmos is on its own, subjective spacetime referent, which is never entirely at synch with the Cosmos. If it were, then we wouldn't be having this lovely conversation.
The Earth is 4.5 billion years old, not the universe. Your last paragraph is shocking. I'm hoping that there is an element of satire here. Keep to what you are good at, like going to church and pumping gas.
According to Einstein's theories, it's the big bang that causes time to go forward. If there was ever a big crunch, where everything goes back to the point of origin, time would go backward. Time and space both exploded out of nowhere, or God or whatever.
