You should see what some Europeans spray painted on the walls outside of our posts. Vote Kerry! Kerry = YES! Bush = Liar! Lol, they must have some reason for giving us there opinions. Every time America goes to war, our President begs other countries to help out when actually those other countries don't want any part of it.
Change the "we" to "I."

I think you'll find that's 'care less' not 'careless'. A little education wouldn't go astray.
There are a number of reasons why Europeans are concerned about US politics, far too many to list here in fact. I shall give you a brief synopsis of a few points though.
US religious fundamentalism freaks us Europeans out. We feel we're moving forward and the US is becoming backward.
The US makes up 4% of the world population yet the US uses 25% of global resources like a parasitic cancer. That worries us Europeans.
Oppression. The US has consistently led an oppressive foreign policy for decades under various guises. Vietnam, Korea, Iraq, Cuba etc, etc. US citizens seem to care little about the massacres of innocent peoples at US hands so long as it stays 'over there'. We Europeans find that disgusting.
Countries like Ireland suffered 800 years of oppression at British hands and what did they do? They went to England in numbers and built there country for them.
The US had an afternoon of oppression and they've bombed half the planet.
Get your head out of your ass RRW and realize that the very reason why we Europeans care about US politics is because so few in the US appear to.

Even if i didn't care about my fellow human being (if i was a naive teenager yahoo like yourself) i would still care about the impact of American foreign policy in my domestic budget.
In March 2003 right before the Iraq invasion I payed 0,74€ / liter of gas. Less than two years later i pay 1€ / liter. That's 4,5€ / gallon!
Taxes over gas have actually been reduced in this period.
I won't mention the impact of american foreign policy on the lifes of people around the world, it's a nightmare for millions of good people.
We read about it everyday in the papers.
