Look at it realistically. People who want to get high are going to get high. No amount of legislation or self-righteous disapproval is going to change that. Legalize drugs and tax them. Turn them into a source of revenue instead of spending billions on a hopeless cause.
You will never stop it and trying to just cost lives. The toxic crap that can be brought kills more people than drug use itself. If we are ever going to protect our kids we must legalise everything, check it's production as if it was a medical product, allow sale only through a licenced seller as we do with booze and give advice and help information on every packet. It should be taxed and the Billions it would bring in MUST be spent on rehab for it's victims. If banning worked I would be it's No 1 supporter, but it doesn't.
Legalize the crap and let the losers do them. The government has no right telling people what to put in their bodies. Save money on the losing war on drugs, take away excuses for police to always search everything, and tax them up the ass to earn money. Eliminate all the crime related to drug cartels and dealers. If people hurt others as a result to being jacked up on drugs then prosecute for specific crimes such as drunk driving.
