The only way companies likethis get away with their unethical practices, is because too many frequent their stores.

It probably never occurs to the average consumer how Walmart can sell their goods comparitively cheaper than their rivals.

Consumer power works, McDonalds has responded to ther falling customers by introducing a healthy option to its menu in order to woo people back.

You can choose where to spend your money and so effect change with hardly any effort on your part, you may think that your dollar wouldnt make a difference, but when consumers actively choose who to avoid and which shops to patronise, they are more powerful than you think.

The US now have the 'Lemon Law' due to consumer power.

Thats just one example.
