Do something out of your routine. Take a long drive, have lunch somewhere completely new, see new scenery. Get out of the rut.
Drop some exctasy and listen to some a band called !!! (pronounced chik, chik, chik) They are fuckin awsome. What was the question again?
walk to the top of the highest hill, have a nice cold beer. Where I live we have a huge hill, takes a while to get to the top, helps clear my mind for some reason

Why don't you take a day just for Mojo. Eat whatever you want today, no counting fat or calories, lay around, watch tv, light candles, soak in the tub, sleep...all guilt free. No guilt today. Set the troubles of the world down for one day and rest your shoulders. You need a break and there is nothing you can do to change these things today so just shut off the news, throw out the paper and surround yourself with only things that make you feel good. :) and know you are loved.
*we should have a happy crying face!

Sometimes switching projects helps ... if I get balked at one thing, I switch to another for a while until inspiration on the first returns.
I agree with Cathexis and Tadema. Put aside the project for awhile and then come back to it later. Lets you clear your mind and get a fresh perspective. Works a lot for me when I get stuck on something.
Mojo...I as well agree with Cathexis and Tads, just take some time for yourself and forget about the project for now...
mojo, would the smiling crying face be called 'PMS'?
hee heee!

One word, drugs.
and doc, one word for your question: boobs.
Does this perhaps have anything to do with being depressed over the election result? (I could understand how it could well be...)
Yup, Counciltucky, the timing is no coincidence.

You know Mojo, it's funny he should bring that up because I was just going to send you a message about that very thing. Don't even turn on the television tomorrow. NO need to do that to yourself. Don't read the paper either. Just say no and close yourself off from the outside world tomorrow.
Light some yummy-smelling candles, read something completely fluffy and unimportant. Don't look at you canvas or the TV.
doctor_fonzarelly , I did...wow man...nice...
Hey....I want some! (pout)
Get up, go out the door and just run around in the nearest field. Clear your head of all but the day. (I don't do that myself, but I live in a town with worse air-quality than L.A. Running- heck, WALKING out there is dangerous to your health...)
change of scenery, like Tadema said, but also activity to increase your heartbeat and respiration. Anything that will increase your adrenaline level without triggering your endorphen level to increase will get your creative juices flowing.
