Yes, it's true. Remember the space shuttle accidents, too.

Sorry ABC...now you can be just as paranoid as I am. :)
Yeah, I do that. I think I got in the habit with the 1st moon landing in 1969. I watched with a cousin of mine who kept saying things like "watch it blow up the second they land" and "I bet they sink into the ground".Of course it didn't blow up or sink, but I've been expecting disaster to strike ever since (and occasionally, unfortunately, it really does).
Yes, I always do ever since the space shuttle thing. Actually, just walking or driving around I do... I wonder if I need more meds?
But I find myself hoping more for supremely embarrasing moments than violent ones. Like at the Golden Globes, I saw one actress who was barely contained in her dress, and I watched for five minutes, just to see IF...
I think about it sometimes standing in line in a store or stuck in traffic. A possible shooting or car jacking runs through my head. If I'm in a very crowded building, I always think about a fire. Doesn't stop me from going or anything like that; just runs through my mind.
No, i'm very quiet now.
Kinda like the news anchor mashing grapes with her feet who fell and was seriously injured.
