There are risks and it is rare that both members of any couple are up for the challenges, but ... there are benefits, as well.
Some are made to be passed around like a party treat, others arent.I dont like disposable men myself.
You can see it that way, I see it as being punished for not being married (taxes, insurance etc) When I was in the military its the same, the government actually is pressuring kids to get married, cram two guys that have been in the military for three years into a 12 x 8 room and have a group latrine and then they watch their married friend who just got into the military strut around his house eating food the military buys him and you will understand my frustration. And you know what happens to these kids that get married at 18, they knock up their wife, they get divorced a year later, the kid is a bastard, the wife moved back in with her family and we have a big mess because the govnt wants everyone to be married, what a croc of shit.
No, I think some people would be better off not getting married. The institution of marriage is a great institution. However, the traditional vows of marriage aren't important to many people today.
I'll bet more than 49% of gay marriages would last.
I bet your right. I think gays are more straight forward with their partners and they feel no pressure to get married.
Seeing some of our future generations strolling up and down the streets at all hours of the night past my house, I'm all for believing that marriage ought to be outlawed.
