I sometimes have to wade through lots of dross to get to a really interesting ballot, do you sometimes feel that people post just for the sake of posting?

Or am I just being elitist?

Yes, theres a lot of dross

Yes, but it's fun for them, and those people should be able to have their fun as long as they're not being arrogantly stupid or ignorant.

All my ballots are rubbish. It's hard to produce a posting with substance when 65,000 topics have already been covered. I am a very proud producer of B&W "dross" ballots as you call them. Plus, I don't really come on here to be serious, I kinda want to read and post dumb shit.

*Ahem* Am I the only one who sees the irony here?

I see some now, Les.

Yes, I was just thinking this as I waded through the latest batch.

Some people seem to liek to us ethis site as a cathartic sandbox ... a place where they can just post whatever stream-of-conscious thoughts come to their mind. Which may be fine for the author.

Pity the millions of readers who are browsing ballots, though.

The best ballots are focused through a readers' perspective, IMO.

Like the sabotage you've been posting lately?

No. The irony is perfectly evident Les.
