PRESIDENT BUSH IS DOING A SWELL JOB IN IRAQ AND IN PREPARING THE IRAQIS TO SECURE THEIR OWN COUNTRY, DON'T YOU THINK?

[+] serious ballot by xxxxxxxx
created Mon Jan 31, 05

I mean Sundays elections in Iraq was a success and out of the 14 million eligible voters there, the turnout was higher than the 57% that was expected, WTG Bush!!!!

The US forces are sucessfully training the Iraqis to defend their own country against terrorism. Give it some time, and Bush will make Iraq a striving democracy.

Bush is doing the right thing and we all need to give him our full support.

Yes, President Bush is doing a Fantastic Job. You Da Man Bush!
No, I'm an ignorant moron that doesn't support our country.

COMMENTS:
I give our troops full support and I give the Iraqis full support. and I hope something good comes from this, and yesterdays elections were encouraging, but am I ready to give Bush the Nobal Peace Prize? No, I know we can't go back and change history, even though some are trying, I have so much compassion for the Iraqis, and at this point, I just want the violence to end for them and they can have a life.

we had 911, and it was a terrable thing, but can you imagine having fighter planes and bombers droping bombs and shelling your town? and all the apologies that we did not mean to hit your house or your school , is not going to make you feel better. I have no respect for the insurgence either, who are killing innocent Iraqis, don't get me wrong, I'm not supporting them, I just want Iraqis to be able to live in peace
by larrynelmira on Mon Jan 31, 05 5:43am [+]

The Iraqi's are more angered about terrorist bombing their homes than us. We gave them freedom and a country that thet can run. They had a taste of freedom by voting and they loved it. * BIG APPLAUSE FOR BUSH, HIS ADMINISTRATION AND THE REPUBLICAN PARTY*
by Republican_RightWing on Mon Jan 31, 05 6:22am [+]

I should point out, your 'choices' are probably why people downrate you, or are you like many conservatives, afraid of a fair and balanced view?

by Steelhamster on Mon Jan 31, 05 6:30am [+]

LiberalHamster, I asked a Yes/No question and I had a YES choice and I had a NO choice. The comments I put on them are what I and the MAJORITY of the GOOD americans believe in.

There were some leaders to question like Clinton so that is not true at all. I'm so sorry that there is a portion of America that is deluded and can't see what is really going on. Since you live in the UK, let me ask you something, are you jealous of our country that you don't have a great leader like we do?
by xxxxxxxx on Mon Jan 31, 05 6:47am [+]

Hmmm am I jealous of your country?

Let me think, my pound buys more than your dollar, we have lower unemployment, a free health system, the best trained armed forces, a welfare state, laws to protect the workers from exploitation, shorter working hours, more holidays and a strong economy.

Where as in your country, you live from paycheck to paycheck, 50 million of your citizens have no health insurance, you have little or no protection at work, longer working hours, less holidays, the highest crime rate, the highest gun related deaths and you ghettoise your citizens.

I dont know its a tough choice.

I would love to know why getting a fair deal for your labour is a 'liberal' stance?

Do you work for free, without any health insurance or protection?

I realise that you probably have never done a hard days work in your life, so probably dont appreciate those who do, but your painting of anyone who feels that people shoud be fairly treated in the workplace and in society is 'liberal' beggars belief.

Or are you of a mind to go back to a feudalist system where people are bonded to the land and to the 'lord'?
by Steelhamster on Mon Jan 31, 05 7:01am [+]

karmous, when I read your comment , I thought, why the hell did he open the door for what I knew someone would say.
I'm not faulting you Steelhamster for speaking the truth. But karmos statement made such an opputunity for ameria bashing, and being an american, not really what I want to hear so early in the morning.

steel,, ive seen a ton of one sided liberal ballots,,, no reason to rate down.. if u dont like it then ignore it

however, i happen to think this is an excellent ballot
by RawIron on Mon Jan 31, 05 7:47am [+]

I think the fact that the elections went well is great too, but I just find it hard to support Bush for taking us to war, too many of our troops and innocent Iraqis have died as direct result of the presidents actions. We can't bring those people back, death is final, right or wrong, my focus is on that. Not on patting the president on the back
by larrynelmira on Mon Jan 31, 05 7:55am [+]

Jappy has become genuinely funny! I'm adding his 'whining liberals' ballot to my favorites list. I haven't laughed so hard since my early days of being on this web site.
by mojo on Mon Jan 31, 05 8:09am [+]

70 percent voting according to the last numbers, I'm so proud of our troops & yes of W. You know from Teddy Kennedy's example the Democrats won't agree but it's hard for them to put themselves into the skins of people who have lived for 30 odd years without a say & in fear of their government, you have to push yourself to have empathy when it's not natural to your cause or your politics & in this case it's not natural for them to care for these people. I actually heard a democrat say we "forced' democracy on these people? Amazing isn't it?
by everygirl on Mon Jan 31, 05 8:20am [+]

Democracy is important but he is going the wrong way about exporting it.
Many troops have been killed and thousands are without the basic neccesities.

Not for long. Your money was re instituted if we did that Our dollar would be worth more. However the Euro won't be worth more than the dollar give it a little while.

Unemployment rate? We have 10x the mumber of people than the so called GREAT Britain we are a richer nation than you so i'll let you try to figure it out.

THE BEST TRAINED ARMED FORCES? LMAO, that was absolutely hilarious. Are you refering to the SAS? Our Navy Seals and Delta force could whipe clean your backward limey asses. If your refering to our regualr armed soldiers thats even more hilarious. Look at WWII facts on that is without US Money, supplies and men your wouldn't have been able to survive as you did. Then we fianly came into the war. We formed and planned and executed Operation Overlord and made it a success. Then at the Battle of the Bulge your General Montgomery was a pussy and didn't attack and left the Americans to fight of the German counter offensive at the Ardennes forsest. Why do you think we are the world's only super power?

Your Economy is only the Third best in the world. Take a guess on who's the best? Yep, The USA.

Shorter working hours? Depend on what job you do. We also get paid more.

Your crime rates have shot so high since your banning on guns. conservatives in your country are trying to get them back. I hope they do. Your police can't respond in time.

Face it. As of right now the USA is best for right now. UK is a good country and has great people but your claims are absurd.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! "Ignorant moron who doesn't support our country" I think we've been transported to the Middle Ages, when the leader was the country. Come on people, it's 2004, not 1004! Hahahahahaha! This is such a stupid ballot it's funny!

This ballot represents fundamental Republichimp thinking: a democratic ballot that only looks like a democratic ballot. That's the Republichimp goal for the US: a fascist dictatorship that only looks like a democracy.

And while the Republichimps are patting themselves on the back and lying to themselves, they might consider that something had to go right in Iraq, eventually. But as Republichimp senator, Chuck Hagel, said: Let's wait and see. One vote does not a prosperous, Western democracy make.
by cranky on Mon Jan 31, 05 10:38am [+]

But Cranky don't you want to see democracy in Iraq?

Im not sure what you mean about reinstituted so I shall skip pat that comment and to you other points. How long before the dollar has the purchasing power of the pound or even the Euro, 4 year, 10 years? Can the US economy stay bouyant that long? How much is the deficit by the way, last Iooked in was in the multi trillions.

Im afraid your economics are a little skewed, unemployment rates arent counted on numbers, but on percentages of the population, please go look it up.

Odd then that the Navy Seals and Delta forces cite the SAS and the Paratroop Regiment as one of the best trained units in world.

I have been with US soldiers in various countries and they are all good lads and there is no doubting their bravery, however, they are a little ill disciplined. I have to say their officers left a lot to be desired.

I wont bother correcting you on WWII, as it has been repeated ad nauseum, that what you claim is untrue at worse and misinformed at best.

'Your Economy is only the Third best in the world. Take a guess on who's the best? Yep, The USA.'

What are you basing your figures on? You are hocked to every major nation in the world and if your dollar falls any further, people will be buying Pesos.

Im running out of heavy sighs, you really are so enamoured with your own delusion. I base my figures on the equivelant economies.

We have an average 36 hour week, and our lowest wage is 5 pounds an hour.

I was mistaken, you can plumb new depths of utter absudity, do you make these 'statistics' and 'facts' up on the spot?

Your points beggar belief, but I cannot expect much more from someone who equates 'Might' with being 'Right'

I wasnt even saying that the US was a terrible country, Kramitoss, someone you will have a lot in common with, made another asanine comment, about how i was supposedly 'jealous' of the US,and I was pointing out that the UK isnt all that bad a place to live, and compared to the US, it beats it hands down in many areas.

I wasnt 'USA bashing', I was merely pointing out the stupidity ofhis comments, just as I have had to do with yours.

You're such a dipshit Steel. I was never bashing your country. You whine and whine and whine about President Bush all of the time and you don't even live in Ameerica, funny that. I just think you are mad that we got Blessed with Bush and you didn't. Why else would be whining so much?

R_R is right hamster and you should learn from him instead of whining the night away.
